The P211 GTO configuration centers on a steel-framed 2011 platform with a Commander-length slide and full-size grip. Controls include a beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, and an ambidextrous slide release. The flat-face, skeletonized trigger and skeletonized hammer support the pistol’s tuned, competition-leaning control set while maintaining a compact footprint.
Barrel and recoil management features are a highlight: a 4.4 in bull barrel works with a factory slide-mounted compensator that has top and side ports. The compensator is Sig Sauer’s MACH3D component, produced using 3D-printing. Forward and rear slide serrations provide confident manipulation, and the slide incorporates the SIG-LOC PRO optic cut for direct mounting.
Sight setup features a green fiber-optic front; the SIG-LOC PRO optic cut supports direct-mounted optics and compatible rear-sight/plate options. A short 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dust cover for light or accessory mounting. The grip is alloy, offering a durable, textured interface.
This model accepts 2011-pattern double-stack steel magazines and ships with three 21-round magazines for a 21+1 capacity. The included factory test target documents a 0.71 in 5-shot group at 10 meters using SIG 115 gr FMJ, dated July 28, 2025 (SKU 211F-9-GTO).
