The Legion treatment brings a coordinated set of features and finishes. This P226 pairs an aluminum-alloy frame and stainless-steel slide, both in Legion Gray, with textured gray two-piece grip panels carrying the chevron motif and a Legion chevron emblem on the slide. A beavertail frame with a high undercut and frontstrap checkering/stippling support a solid, high grip.
The slide is optics-ready and ships with a cover plate. It also includes front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. The pistol uses a traditional 3-dot sight picture with a bright green front blade and a square-notch rear.
Controls are set up for practical DA/SA use, including an exposed spur hammer, a decocking lever, and a reversible magazine release. Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger, and the full-size frame houses a 4.4-inch barrel.
A full-length 4-slot accessory rail supports light or laser attachments. The right side of the frame is marked "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON–NH–USA," reflecting its U.S. manufacture.
