The Companion variant features an Officer-length 3.5 inch barrel and a compact profile that maintains 1911 ergonomics. It is built on a stainless-steel frame with a matching stainless slide, giving it durable construction and a uniform finish.
Para's LDA (Light Double Action) mechanism delivers a smooth, consistent DAO pull while keeping the 1911's manual thumb safety and grip safety. This pistol uses a pivoting, smooth-faced LDA trigger and a Commander-style rowel (ring) hammer.
The slide is outfitted with rear serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and fixed sights. The low-profile three-dot sight set includes a fixed front and a drift-adjustable rear for precise alignment.
Chambered in .45 ACP, this single-column configuration provides a 6+1 capacity. The barrel uses 6-groove, left-hand rifling with a 1:16 LH twist. Grip panels are checkered wood double-diamonds with gold Para medallions, and the pistol is production-marked "Made in Canada" with "PARA-ORDNANCE INC. FT. LAUDERDALE FL., MADE IN CANADA" rollmarks.
