- M-LOK Picatinny rail section installed at 6 o'clock on the handguard
The MPX K layout centers on a 4.5-inch barrel with a threaded muzzle and flash hider, keeping the overall package compact while retaining standard MPX functionality. The gas-operated short-stroke push-rod system and closed-bolt operation define the platform’s operating method.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the magazine release and safety selector, with a left-side bolt catch and a right-side bolt-release paddle. A flat-faced trigger is standard. The pistol ships in 35+1 capacity form and includes three 35-round MPX magazines.
The receiver is aluminum alloy with a hard-coat anodized finish. Up front, a short aluminum M-LOK handguard provides accessory mounting, and the continuous MIL-STD-1913 top rail spans the receiver and handguard for mounting compatible equipment as desired.
At the rear, a side-folding SIG PCB pistol brace with Velcro cuff attaches via the 1913 Picatinny interface. The platform is made in the USA. This example has no sights installed from the factory.
