The 7 in .300 AAC Blackout barrel is cold hammer forged from chrome-moly-vanadium steel, features a 1:7 twist, and uses a pistol-length gas system for reliable cycling with this cartridge. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and is fitted with a linear/blast-forward muzzle device.
The upper receiver is marked "DDM4.PDW" with an upper-forward "300" cartridge-shaped emblem, and it pairs with a Daniel Defense MFR 6.0 M-LOK free-float handguard (6061-T6 aluminum) marked with the maker and "6.0 M." Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish for durability.
Controls and furniture are purpose-built, including the Daniel Defense GRIP-N-RIP charging handle and a textured polymer pistol grip. Factory fixed Daniel Defense front and rear iron sights provide a straightforward sighting setup ready out of the box.
