Controls and safety features include a short-recoil, single-action system, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a firing pin safety. The pistol uses an external extractor, rear slide serrations, and dovetailed sight cuts. Sighting is via fixed, dovetailed 3-dot units front and rear.
Build and origin details include Belgian manufacture with assembly in Portugal, with roll marks reading: "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q., MADE IN BELGIUM ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGAL."
