The M1911 A2 FS Tactical II pairs a classic 1911 operating system with a double-stack A2 frame to deliver a 16+1 capacity in 10mm Auto. Its full-size configuration uses a 5-inch barrel and slide, with a non-railed dust cover and a matte black Parkerized finish on both slide and frame.
Sight regulation is straightforward with a fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear unit featuring two white dots. Control features include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, supported by a skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized combat-style hammer. Rear slide serrations aid manipulation.
The A2 grip module is molded polymer with diagonal texturing for traction, and the frame is fitted with a bolt-on flared magwell funnel to speed reloads. Internally, the pistol uses a full-length guide rod with a conventional barrel bushing, maintaining familiar 1911 takedown and feel. Two steel double-stack magazines are included.
Markings observed include the Rock Island Armory logo on the slide, “M1911 A2 FS – TACT. II” on the frame, and “CAL: 10MM” on the chamber. The pistol is manufactured in the Philippines and bears U.S. import markings from Pahrump, Nevada, with proof/import stamps noted as “AP INTL – PAHRUMP NV” and “ACP PHILIPPINES.”
