This Ducks Unlimited 2018 Edition pairs the Sweet Sixteen platform with factory engraving: the right side of the receiver carries a DUCKS UNLIMITED banner with a 2018 ribbon, and the left side features the DU duck-head logo within scrollwork. The receiver wears a satin silver-tone finish that contrasts with the blued barrel. Serial numbers for this DU run follow the 2018DUxxxx format.
The A5 Sweet Sixteen uses Browning's recoil-operated inertia Kinematic Drive with a rotating multi-lug bolt. Controls include a large bolt release button and a checkered bolt handle. A cross-bolt safety and gold-tone trigger round out the handling features.
The 28" barrel is marked "A5 – Sweet Sixteen – 16GA – 2 3/4 Invector DS – 28"" and is threaded for Browning's Invector-DS choke system. A ventilated rib with a red fiber-optic front bead and a white mid-bead provides a clear sighting plane. Capacity is 4+1 with 2 3/4" shells.
The stock set is gloss-finished walnut with a pistol grip, fine cut checkering, and a recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.0", offering a classic fit for a 16-gauge field gun.
Manufactured and assembled by Browning Viana in Portugal, this limited Ducks Unlimited edition carries Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah markings and "Made in Portugal by Browning Viana" proofs.
