Produced in 1968 by Zastava Arms, this Yugoslav M59/66 is the early/non-A1 configuration without flip-up night sights. The hardwood stock shows the faint circular Yugoslav crest cartouche on the heel, and the rifle follows the SKS pattern with a fixed 10-round internal magazine.

What’s Included
- Integral folding blade bayonet for Zastava M59/66 (installed)
This M59/66 follows the SKS platform but adds Yugoslav-specific features. The early/non-A1 pattern omits flip-up night sights while retaining the full grenade-launching suite: a 22 mm ported launcher, a gas cutoff, and a flip-up ladder grenade sight. These original military features are a defining element of the model.
The rifle uses a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system and is chambered in 7.62x39. It feeds from a fixed 10-round internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate. The 22-inch steel barrel is non-chrome-lined, consistent with Yugoslav production standards of the period.
Sights are straightforward and durable: a front post within protective ears and a tangent rear sight with meter graduations. Construction is all-steel for the receiver and barrel, paired with a hardwood stock and full-length handguard. The integral folding bright-finished blade bayonet is mounted at the muzzle.
The stock features a rubber buttpad, a rear sling swivel, and a fixed sling loop, with a 12.5-inch length of pull. The hardwood shows the faint circular Yugoslav crest cartouche on the heel, and small part markings are observed on the receiver-cover latch area and the trigger-guard housing.
