The rifle uses a stainless steel receiver and a 26-inch sporter-contour stainless barrel, both treated with Remington’s TriNyte finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. The barrel is cleanly profiled with no sights and an unthreaded muzzle, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases (four holes).
