The JW3 Combat Master build centers on a 5.4 inch bull barrel with a bronze-tone finish visible through the slide windows. The slide features forward and rear serrations, along with top and side lightening cuts and windows that showcase the barrel.
The 2011-pattern modular frame uses a full-length dust cover with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail and a textured polymer grip module. A flared magazine well supports fast reloads with the included 2011-pattern magazines featuring witness holes to 17 and 20 rounds.
Controls include single-action-only operation with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A tuned, lightened trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the tuned control layout.
Sighting is straightforward with a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight for precise alignment. Underside markings include "TARAN TACTICAL INNOVATIONS – SIMI VALLEY, CA USA" and "TTI 2011."
