The Island submodel configures the sights with an orange fiber-optic front on an island block and a green dual-dot fiber-optic rear. The fixed fiber-optic setup delivers a bright, easily referenced sight picture in varied lighting.
The slide wears a black Melonite finish and incorporates lightening cuts and top lightening holes, plus an external extractor. Slide markings include “DY9” on the left and “DERYA” with “9x19” on the right, with two screws visible on the top of the slide behind the rear sight.
The black polymer frame features interchangeable backstraps to tailor grip size, and an accessory rail with two slots on the dust cover for mounting compatible lights or accessories. Compact dimensions include an overall length of 6.9 in, a width of 1.16 in, and a height of 4.56 in, with an empty weight of approximately 1.4 lb.
Inside, the striker-fired action uses a safety-blade trigger measuring approximately 5.95 lb, combined with a trigger safety, firing pin block, and drop safety. Capacity is 15+1 rounds in 9mm Luger, and this pistol comes with three factory magazines to keep you on the range longer between reloads.
