What’s Included
- Colt Python .357 Mag. revolver
This Python is a first-generation example built in 1966, featuring a six-shot fluted cylinder and the well-known Python profile with a ventilated top rib using rectangular ports and a full-length underlug. The DA/SA action and wide trigger provide the classic Python operating feel.
The revolver wears a matte silver/gray non-factory refinish across its steel frame, barrel, and cylinder, complemented by aftermarket stag/antler-style grip panels. The exposed backstrap retains longitudinal serrations, and the hammer is a checkered wide-spur pattern.
Sights include an adjustable rear unit with windage and elevation indicators and a ramped front sight with a colored insert for visibility. The knurled ejector-rod tip is neatly shrouded by the underlug.
Factory markings remain present, including the Colt Hartford barrel address and Python .357 rollmarks. Matching serial numbers appear on the crane/yoke and frame, aligning with the revolver's original-generation configuration.
