Built at the Tula Arsenal in 1943, this Model 1891/30 reflects wartime Soviet manufacture with the round receiver and the Tula five-pointed star over "1943г" on the receiver shank. It is made in Russia and retains period-correct inspector and acceptance stamps on the receiver and bolt.
The rifle is chambered in 7.62x54R and features a 29-inch barrel, a straight bolt with a round knob, and a fixed 5-round internal magazine with a hinged floorplate. The receiver and other metal parts carry a blued finish appropriate to the pattern.
Furniture includes a full-length hardwood stock with a shellac-type arsenal finish and a separate top handguard. Sling slots with metal escutcheons are present, and the forend is secured by two spring-retained barrel bands. A steel buttplate completes the classic 91/30 configuration.
Sighting equipment is the standard iron set: a hooded front post paired with a tangent ladder rear sight. Markings include an import stamp reading "M91/30 RUSSIAN 7.62x54R" above "C.A.I.
