The Model 760 Gamemaster uses a pump-action slide with a rotating multi-lug bolt that locks into a barrel extension, combined with right-side ejection and a cross-bolt safety. This example falls within the pre-1968 serial-number sequence era.
It features a 22-inch barrel in .270 Win with factory iron sights, including a ramped front sight and a step-elevator rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped and finished in blued steel to match the barrel.
Optics are already in place: two-piece bases and rings secure a Tasco 3-9x40 scope with a duplex reticle, giving variable 3-9x magnification for a clear aiming solution.
The walnut stock has a pistol-grip profile and an uncheckered finish, paired with a corncob-grooved walnut fore-end for positive purchase. An aftermarket Pachmayr White Line recoil pad with white/black spacers sets the length of pull at 12.0 inches.
Feeding is via a detachable 4-round steel box magazine marked '.270 WIN,' for a 4+1 capacity in this full-size rifle configuration.
