Kimber Pro TLE/RL II .45 ACP 4-inch 1911, Matte Stainless, Integral Rail, Series II (Yonkers-Era)
This Kimber Pro TLE/RL II is a 4-inch .45 ACP 1911 on a full-size frame, with a matte stainless frame and slide and an integral Picatinny rail. It uses a bushingless stainless bull barrel and fixed 3-dot sights, with 30 LPI front-strap checkering for secure control. Part of the TLE line derived from LAPD SWAT duty pistols, this Yonkers-era example carries the Yonkers, NY rollmark and a KR-prefix serial.
The 4-inch Pro-length configuration combines a stainless bushingless bull barrel with a lowered and flared ejection port for reliable operation. The slide has rear cocking serrations with no front serrations, keeping the profile clean while offering positive traction where it matters.
Controls are set up for duty-focused handling: beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous manual thumb safety, and a Series II/Swartz firing-pin block. A skeletonized, three-hole lightweight trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer round out the fire-control setup.
Grip and frame details include 30 LPI front-strap checkering, a checkered flat mainspring housing, and a high-cut under the trigger guard. Black checkered grip panels with smooth triangular relief areas at the screw locations provide a firm hold and contrast well with the matte stainless finish.
Fixed 3-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear, with a low-profile rear. The integral Picatinny rail features multiple cross-slots for mounting accessories. Capacity is 7+1, and this pistol is made in the USA.
