What’s Included
- Remington 1903A3 .30-06 bolt-action rifle as described
Built as a modern commercial reproduction, this example pairs a wartime Remington 03-A3 receiver (1943) with a Rock Ridge Machine Works barrel produced in 2015. The barrel is correctly roll-marked "RRMW EPHRATA PA" and "RR 2015," making its origin and date clear to the buyer.
The rifle retains the A3 pattern receiver-mounted aperture rear sight with both windage and elevation drums. The barrel has the correct keyway and cross-pin hole, but the front sight assembly is not installed.
Chambered in .30-06 with a 24-inch barrel, it uses the 1903-pattern two-lug bolt with a turned-down handle and an internal 5+1 box magazine. Controls include the wing safety on the cocking piece. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches.
The steel components carry a uniform matte parkerized finish. Furniture consists of a full-length military hardwood stock with a straight grip, a separate upper handguard, and installed sling swivels for field carry.
Bore quality is a standout: the interior is clean with a mirror finish, and the rifling shows sharp lands and grooves, supporting the excellent mechanical potential of the new-production RRMW barrel.
