The P17 uses a straight blowback, single-action system with an internal hammer, giving it simple operation and a consistent trigger. Its fixed 3.8 in hardened steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a thread protector, ready for standard 1/2x28 muzzle devices.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the manual safety and paddle-style magazine release. The black glass-reinforced nylon frame keeps weight down while providing durability, and the KelTec gator grip texture delivers a secure hold.
Sight alignment is fast and clear thanks to a fiber-optic green front and an adjustable rear sight. Capacity is 16+1 rounds of .22 LR, and this pistol ships with four factory 16-round magazines to keep you running on the range.
