The PPK/S pairs a PP-length frame with a PPK top end, delivering the iconic profile with added grip length. This example is from Walther’s Fort Smith, USA production, identified by the American slide legend and the absence of German Ulm proofmarks.
Its fixed-barrel, straight-blowback system in .380 ACP supports consistent mechanical lock-up, while the DA/SA trigger and slide-mounted safety/decocker add familiar Walther handling. A loaded chamber indicator pin provides a tactile and visual status check.
Construction is all steel with a black finish, complemented by vertical rear slide serrations and a wave-pattern anti-glare top rib. The compact 3.3 in barrel and extended beavertail/tang aid control in a small footprint.
Sight picture comes from fixed 3-dot irons (front blade, rear notch). Two-piece checkered black polymer grip panels with Walther banners round out the classic ergonomics. A push-button magazine release and ring hammer complete the controls, and this pistol includes four 6-round single-stack magazines for ready use.
