The Sturm Ruger RXM is a 2025 Ruger/Magpul collaboration built around a modular, serialized Fire Control Insert that lets you swap between Magpul EHG RG9 grip frames. This compact 9mm features a 4" alloy-steel barrel, through-hardened alloy-steel slide with black nitride finish, co-witness-height steel sights, and a factory optics cut with cover plate installed. It ships with both compact and full-size grip modules and four magazines to match, offering immediate flexibility for carry or range use.

The RXM’s modular, serialized Fire Control Insert (FCI) is the heart of the system, allowing straightforward swaps between the included Magpul EHG RG9 compact and full-size grip modules. This makes it easy to tailor grip size while retaining the same serialized core.
The through-hardened alloy-steel slide and barrel wear a ferritic nitrocarburized (black nitride) finish. The slide has front and rear serrations and a factory optics cut with a cover plate installed. Direct-mount footprints include RMR, DeltaPoint Pro, and RMSc, providing mounting flexibility when a compatible optic is desired.
Co-witness-height steel sights come installed, with a steel front post featuring a white insert and a drift-adjustable steel square-notch rear. This sight setup pairs well with the optics-cut slide while remaining durable for irons-only use.
Controls include a left-side slide stop and a left-side, push-button magazine release. The polymer frame is finished in black and includes an integral single-slot accessory rail on the dust cover for compatible lights or accessories. Capacity is 17+1 with the appropriate magazine.
