Made in China, this Norinco Type 56 retains its core SKS architecture with a steel receiver and a 20" barrel chambered in 7.62x39. The rifle has matching-numbered major components, with the last five digits repeated on key parts.
The rifle has been sporterized with a TAPCO six-position adjustable stock featuring a pistol grip. Length of pull adjusts approximately from 11.5" to 15", accommodating a wide range of shooters and setups. A green web sling is installed for carry and support. The under-barrel cleaning rod is present and installed.
