The Tavor 7 is a 7.62x51 NATO bullpup built around a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston action. Its 4-position adjustable gas regulator allows tuning for varied conditions, and the left-side, forward-mounted charging handle keeps manipulations close to the shoulder. Controls include a paddle-style magazine release and a manual safety.
The 16.5 inch CrMoV steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined, with a 1:12 RH twist. The barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake. The rifle uses a robust polymer frame with a vented polymer handguard and a textured buttpad, all finished in black.
A full-length MIL-STD-1913 top rail with T-marked slots provides continuous mounting space across the receiver line. The rifle ships without sights and includes a right-side ejection port cover.
