The CSX E-Series Optics Ready slide is cut for the RMS-C/Holosun-K footprint and includes a cover plate when irons are used. S&W’s ClearSight gas-diverting cut is designed to channel gases away from the optic, and the slide adds front and rear serrations, a right-side ejection port, and dovetailed 3-dot sights.
The single-action-only trigger system features the enhanced E-Series trigger with a flat face, center safety blade, improved reset, and a cleaner break. Controls include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, ambidextrous slide stop, and a reversible push-button magazine release. Per the slide marking, the pistol can fire with the magazine removed.
An aluminum alloy frame keeps weight low while maintaining rigidity. The grip uses a wraparound textured polymer insert with interchangeable backstraps, and a modular grip adapter system accommodates different magazine lengths.
