Built in the 1980s and marked as a standard (non-Ranch) Mini-14, this 184-Series rifle aligns with pre-ban production from 1984. The observed 184-prefix is consistent with manufacture prior to the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban.
The rifle uses a gas-operated short-stroke fixed piston with a rotating bolt and has a right-side charging handle/op-rod. It is chambered in .223 Rem and offers a stated capacity of 30+1 with the included magazines.
Its 18.5-inch stainless barrel has a plain muzzle and a winged front sight base, paired with iron sights consisting of a protected front blade and an adjustable rear aperture. A front sling loop is mounted at the gas block.
