The compact VP9K A1 format pairs a 4.09 in barrel with a standard 15+1 capacity, delivering a shortened slide and frame while maintaining full-capacity magazines. It is marked with DE proof and CIP N/CF stamps and the HKI Columbus, GA importer marking, confirming German manufacture and commercial proofing.
The cold hammer forged barrel uses HK's polygonal rifling with a 1:9.8 in right-hand twist. This barrel construction is designed for durability and a smooth, consistent bore surface.
A1 updates stand out on this example: improved ambidextrous controls, additional slide serrations for traction, a factory-flared magwell for guided magazine insertion, and an enhanced trigger with a nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar. The striker-fired system includes a trigger safety and a loaded chamber indicator.
The factory optic-ready slide features a cover plate and uses the HK plate system (plates sold separately). Iron sights include a dovetailed front sight with green dot insert and a drift-adjustable square-notch rear. The black slide and polymer frame are complemented by interchangeable side panels and backstraps for grip fit, a textured grip surface, and an accessory rail with four cross-slots. An external extractor and red loaded-chamber witness mark are integrated into the slide.
