The two-piece 10/22 Takedown system uses a rotating lock and knurled adjustment collar for secure assembly and quick separation of the barrel and receiver. The receiver is alloy with a silver finish and marked "RUGER • NEWPORT • NH • USA."
The 16.25 in stainless steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a thread protector. Sighting is via a green fiber-optic front and an adjustable rear leaf with an orange insert.
The gray Magpul X-22 Backpacker stock and matching forend are polymer, with an integral polymer buttpad featuring vertical serrations. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches.
