The Gen5 configuration brings ambidextrous slide stop levers, a reversible magazine catch, and an updated frame texture for secure handling. The frame incorporates a slight flared magwell to support fast reloads. There is no lanyard hole on this model.
The 4.02 inch Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) and nDLC-treated slide provide enhanced barrel geometry and a hard, corrosion-resistant finish. Front and rear cocking serrations offer confident slide manipulation. This example uses a non-MOS slide.
Ameriglo tritium night sights are installed from the factory, combining a high-visibility orange front dot with a rear featuring a single vertical index line to speed sight acquisition in varied lighting.
Chambered in .40 S&W, the G23 Gen5 uses standard 13-round magazines with witness holes numbered to 13. The pistol includes an accessory rail for lights. Markings include the Glock, Inc. Smyrna, GA import mark and "Made in Austria" on the slide/frame.
