What’s Included
- Remington Rand M1911A1 USGI Mix-master .45 ACP pistol
- Three 7-round steel single-stack 1911 magazines
The Remington Rand-marked slide is mated to an early 1943 forged carbon-steel frame, reflecting a classic USGI mix-master rebuild. The GI parkerized finish shows the expected difference in hue between slide and frame, consistent with arsenal assembly practices of the era.
It features the Browning short-recoil system with a removable GI barrel bushing and a 5 inch barrel. Capacity is 7+1 with standard single-stack magazines, and three 7-round magazines are included.
Controls and small parts are true to GI form: single-action only operation, a 1911-pattern trigger, a wide checkered spur hammer, a standard left-side magazine release, and a thumb safety. The arched mainspring housing includes a lanyard loop, and the pistol wears checkered brown grip panels.
Slide details include rear-only serrations and a narrow ejection port. Sights are the fixed GI pattern with a narrow staked front blade and a small GI-style rear sight in a dovetail, matching its WWII-era configuration.
