What’s Included
- Colt Police Positive Second Issue revolver
Built on Colt’s small D-frame, this Second Issue Police Positive combines a six-shot swing-out cylinder with a 4-inch barrel for a balanced .32 S&W Long revolver. The action is double-action/single-action, with the Colt Positive Lock hammer-block safety designed to prevent the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled.
The revolver wears a nickel finish over carbon-steel components, including the frame, cylinder, and barrel. It retains its round-butt checkered walnut grip panels with Colt medallions, a smooth trigger, and an exposed hammer with a checkered spur.
Sighting is straightforward and durable: a squared-blade front sight paired with an integral rear notch in the topstrap. Anti-glare treatment is present on upper surfaces.
Markings are period-correct and legible, including the right-side barrel roll mark "32 POLICE CTG.", the two-line Colt Hartford address/patent on the top of the barrel, and the Rampant Colt logo on the frame. Inspector/assembly stamps ("X" and numerals) are present. Matching serial numbers appear on the frame and crane, and a non-factory property marking "E. CIBULKA" is noted on the frame.
