The Model 870 Express Compact Camo (Youth) pairs a compact 13.0" LOP synthetic stock in a camo finish with Remington's proven 870 pump-action. The SuperCell recoil pad and youth-length dimensions support comfortable handling and quicker mounting for smaller-framed shooters.
Its 21" carbon steel barrel features a ventilated rib and a single white front bead for straightforward sighting. The chamber accepts both 2 3/4" and 3" 20 gauge shells, and the magazine holds 4 rounds plus 1 in the chamber.
The carbon steel receiver and barrel carry a matte black/blue finish. Dual action bars promote consistent, reliable cycling. A polymer trigger guard is fitted, and the magazine cap is standard with no extension.
Factory markings include the receiver rollmark "Remington 870" and a barrel stamp "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY ILION, NY." The serial number is laser-etched on the receiver with an adjacent data-matrix. Front and rear sling studs are installed, and this example includes a ready-to-use sling attached via quick-detach swivels.
