It includes a rosewood fore-end tip and grip cap with white-line spacers and an inlaid white diamond, plus a ventilated recoil pad and QD sling swivel studs.
The action is Weatherby’s Mark V multi-lug rotating bolt with bright longitudinal flutes, an enclosed shroud, and a recessed bolt face with a plunger ejector and small extractor. Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, offering a 3+1 capacity in .257 Wby. Mag.
The 26 in sporter-contour barrel is sightless for a clean profile. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this rifle has two-piece scope bases installed. Metal surfaces carry a polished blue finish that matches the Deluxe presentation.
Barrel rollmarks include .257 WBY MAG and MARK V U.S. PATENT NO. 3,013,355, with Weatherby South Gate, Calif. script on the right side. This Japanese-production example was made by Howa in 1994, and the H-prefix serial denotes Howa manufacture.
