This Mossberg 590 Shockwave stands out as a custom-configured 12-gauge with a heavy-walled, fixed Cyl Bore barrel measuring approximately 14.5 inches and a 3" Chamber. It features the classic Shockwave layout with a Raptor-style bird's-head grip, ribbed corncob fore-end, and a gold/brass bead front sight. The aluminum receiver is drilled and tapped with three plug screws, and this example includes an installed OPSOL Mini-Clip 2.0 Flex adapter and a two-point sling.

The 590 Shockwave platform delivers a compact, pump-action 12-gauge format with a heavy-walled, fixed Cyl Bore barrel. This example is chambered for both 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells (3" Chamber) and carries a 4+1 capacity. A gold/brass bead front sight provides a clean, durable aiming reference.
Construction is robust, with a matte blued/black finish and a black anodized aluminum receiver. The Raptor-style bird's-head synthetic grip and ribbed corncob-style synthetic fore-end offer a secure, repeatable hold, and the tang safety provides an intuitive control layout.
The receiver is drilled and tapped and fitted with three plug screws. A 590-type threaded magazine cap sits at the muzzle with a traditional sling swivel stud, and aftermarket push-button QD sling sockets are installed at the front and rear (front is a separate add-on QD adapter attached to the magazine cap’s sling swivel stud; rear a bolt-on QD socket at the bird’s-head grip). A two-point sling is already attached.
This custom-configured Shockwave includes an OPSOL Mini-Clip 2.0 Flex adapter installed and comes with the owner's manual. The overall setup is straightforward and ready to use with the included sling.
