The 10/22 Takedown system uses a rotary locking collar and latch that allow the barrel assembly to separate from the receiver quickly while maintaining repeatable zero. This makes transport and storage straightforward without compromising point of impact when reassembled.
The 16.10" alloy steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with a standard contour and is threaded 1/2"-28. A flash suppressor is installed. A folding rear sight is present; the sighting setup may vary, and the rifle is optics-ready out of the box.
The receiver wears a matte black finish and is drilled and tapped for a scope base using four holes; the factory base and screws are included. Feeding is via Ruger’s detachable rotary magazine system with a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR.
The black synthetic stock provides durability and grip with molded checkering, a barrel band, and a rubber buttpad. A 13.0" length of pull and the simple blowback action round out a configuration built for reliability and ease of use. This rifle is Ruger MPN 11112 and was manufactured in 2015.
