What’s Included
- Terni Arsenal Modello 1938 Fucile Corto rifle (7.35x51 Carcano), Finnish SA property-marked
Built at Terni Arsenal, this Modello 1938 Fucile Corto is chambered in 7.35x51 Carcano and configured as the short rifle variant. It retains a blued steel receiver and the proper 21" barrel length paired with the fixed receiver-bridge rear notch and a front post protected by sturdy ears.
Collector-relevant markings include the boxed SA Finnish Army property stamp on the left barrel shank, the royal crown crest over RE TERNI on the barrel shank, and dual 1939 XVII dating. These markings clearly identify Italian manufacture followed by Finnish service use in period.
The hardwood stock has the correct Fucile Corto features: a full-length profile with a single long grasping groove, a left-side buttstock sling bar, one spring-retained barrel band with a bottom sling swivel, and a steel buttplate. The nose cap is secured by two screws, as expected for this pattern.
Operation is bolt-action with a rear safety knob. The rifle feeds from an internal magazine using the Carcano en-bloc clip system and holds 5 rounds. Length of pull measures 13.0, and the fixed iron sights are set up for practical service use with a receiver-bridge notch and protected front post.
