What’s Included
- 1x 30-round Magpul PMAG windowed polymer AR-pattern magazine
- Q Cherry Bomb muzzle brake and suppressor mount (installed)
The MCX-SPEAR LT platform uses a short-stroke gas piston system with an internal recoil assembly, allowing true side-folding without a buffer tube. The lower is marked "MCX MULTI-CALIBER," and controls include a right-side bolt catch/release lever and an ambidextrous safety selector. An ejection-port dust cover is present, and there is no forward assist.
The 16-inch carbon-steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged and threaded 1/2x28. A Q Cherry Bomb muzzle device is installed, serving as both a muzzle brake and a suppressor mount. This setup pairs cleanly with the rifle’s threaded muzzle while preserving the MCX’s compact handling characteristics.
Ergonomics are modern and practical: a side-folding, telescoping polymer stock with a rubber buttpad and a polymer grip with SIG SAUER marking. The rifle uses a flat-faced trigger and a standard magazine release. A free-float M-LOK handguard with lightening cuts surrounds the barrel, and a full-length 12 o’clock Picatinny rail runs from receiver through the handguard.
The rifle wears a uniform coyote tan finish on the forged-alloy receiver and stock components. It is chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 30+1 capacity. No sights are installed, providing a clean top rail for the user’s preferred sighting solution. Factory MSRP is $2,729.
