The 92X Type F configuration uses a DA/SA, hammer-fired system with ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker levers that include red index dots. The slide is the traditional 90-series open-top design with rear cocking serrations and runs a short-recoil locking-block operating system. This example has a non-RDO slide with no optic cut.
Ergonomics are based on the Vertec-style straight backstrap frame with aggressive frontstrap and backstrap checkering for secure purchase. It includes a squared and serrated trigger guard and a spurred external hammer. A Beretta 92X wraparound grip panel is included if you prefer an alternate feel.
Sighting is set up with a fiber-optic front sight (red/orange) and a plain black serrated rear, both in dovetails. The steel barrel measures 4.7 inches. The dust cover carries a 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for lights or lasers.
The matte black slide and aluminum-alloy frame present a uniform finish. Markings include "MOD. 92X - CAL. 9mm Parabellum - PATENTED." and "BERETTA U.S.A. CORP., GALLATIN, TN - MADE IN USA" with the PB crest.
Standard capacity is 17+1, and this pistol ships with three 17-round magazines.
