This Palmetto State Armory PX9 is a dedicated 9mm AR-9 configured with a Bear Creek Arsenal right-side-charging upper and a PSA Glock-style lower. It features a 16.5-inch threaded barrel with a multi-port brake/compensator, a free-float slotted aluminum handguard, and upgraded controls including the GMR Super Safety. The two-tone light gray finish with black Magpul furniture gives it a clean, purpose-built look.
Built on a PSA PX9 Glock-mag lower and a BCA-marked side-charging upper, this carbine runs a simple blowback action for 9mm Luger. The reciprocating right-side charging system offers a distinct manual-of-arms, and the flat-top upper has no sights installed, ready for the user’s preferred setup.

The core of this build is the PSA PX9 dedicated 9mm Glock-mag lower, matched to a BCA-marked right-side-charging upper. This pairing delivers the AR-9 format with Glock-pattern magazine compatibility and a distinctive reciprocating charging handle on the right side.
The 16.5-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port brake/compensator. The free-float slick-top aluminum handguard uses M-LOK-style slots and has no 12 o’clock Picatinny rail, and the flat-top upper has no sights installed. The upper receiver provides a Picatinny rail for optics, while the handguard’s slots accept compatible accessories.
Controls and ergonomics are upgraded with the GMR Super Safety and a two-position selector marked SAFE/FIRE. A Magpul pistol grip and Magpul-pattern collapsible stock round out the furniture, with a measured length of pull of 13.5 inches.
Construction is aluminum alloy with a two-tone light gray finish on the receiver and handguard and black furniture. The PSA crossed-cannons logo is present on the magwell. Capacity is 17+1 with the included 17-round PMAG GL9 magazines. Made in the United States.
