This PM-7 is built on a stainless steel, non-railed 1911 Government platform with a 5 inch slide and barrel. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port. Finish is stainless with brushed flats and bead-blasted rounds for a clean, purposeful look.
Accuracy-oriented features include a match-marked .45 ACP barrel and adjustable target sights: a front post paired with a fully adjustable rear marked “UP” and “LEFT.” The skeletonized three-hole trigger and commander-style hammer round out the target-focused setup.
The pistol is single-action only with a short-recoil, tilting-barrel system. It has an upswept beavertail grip safety, a flat textured mainspring housing, and a left-side manual thumb safety. Capacity is 8+1 with the included single-stack magazines.
Markings include “PM7-45” on the slide and “DAN WESSON FIREARMS NORWICH, NY U.S.A.” on the frame, with the barrel hood marked “.45 ACP.” This configuration is listed as compliant for California.
