The action uses a three-lug bolt with a recessed face and plunger ejector for secure lock-up and positive ejection. A two-position tang safety provides intuitive control. Sako’s integral tapered dovetail scope bases with finely checkered top surfaces are machined into the receiver, ready for compatible Sako-pattern mounting hardware.
The sporter-profile 19.25 inch barrel has longitudinal flutes to reduce weight and aid cooling, and it is finished with a crowned muzzle. There are no iron sights. The custom Butternut hardwood stock is pillar-bedded for consistent action support. It includes a left-side shadowline cheekpiece, contrasting forend tip with black spacer, contrasting pistol-grip cap/insert, sling-swivel studs, and a recoil pad with a black spacer.
