Developed to satisfy U.S. import requirements in 1968, the PPK/S combines the PP-length frame with the PPK top end. This configuration delivers a 7+1 capacity in .380 ACP with the compact PPK slide profile and a 3.3-inch fixed barrel.
Controls are true to the PP-series lineage: a left-side push-button magazine release, a slide-mounted safety/decocker with a red fire dot indicator, and an external spurred hammer. The trigger operates in double-action/single-action, and the slide carries vertical rear serrations for confident manipulation.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish on the frame and slide. The pistol wears black checkered grip panels molded with the Walther banner. Sights are fixed, consisting of a front blade and a rear notch, consistent with the model’s traditional configuration.
This example was made in the USA under license of Carl Walther, with Interarms markings: "INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA" and "Made in USA" alongside the licensing attribution to Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. The chamber hood is marked "M," as noted.
It is accompanied by four single-stack magazines: two bright stainless Walther factory magazines marked "Cal. 9mm kurz" and two dark blued finger-rest magazines with no visible Walther logo or caliber marking, and a Brand X soft pistol case.
