This Barrett 82A1 is an as-new .50 BMG semi-automatic rifle built with a 29-inch fluted heavy barrel and Barrett's two-port rectangular muzzle brake. It features a full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail, iron sights, and a robust steel construction with a charging handle and integral rear monopod. It comes with the original case and one 5-round magazine.
Condition
Overall Condition: As-new condition with no signs of prior handling beyond what’s typical from inspection (see photos).
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

The 82A1 operates via a semi-automatic, short-recoil system with a rotating bolt, delivering the .50 BMG with proven reliability. Its steel receiver and stock assembly wear a matte dark gray/black finish, complemented by a charging handle and captive takedown/transport pins with retaining rings for secure field handling.
The 29-inch fluted heavy barrel uses a 1:15 RH twist and is paired with Barrett's two-port rectangular muzzle brake to manage recoil and muzzle movement. The bore is excellent, and the ventilated tubular forend with oval lightening holes promotes airflow and reduces forward weight.
A full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail provides ample mounting space, while the iron sights provide practical aiming capability out of the box.
The steel stock incorporates an integral rear monopod for stable prone support and an A2-pattern polymer pistol grip for a familiar interface. Capacity is 5+1 with the detachable steel box magazine. Overall length is approximately 57 inches, with an unloaded weight of approximately 30 pounds and a 14.75-inch length of pull.
Factory markings include the maker’s mark and address "BARRETT – Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc., Murfreesboro, TN, U.S.A.", the caliber marking "50 BMG", and barrel/extension stamps "0182 0122 11-22" and "8-22 621".
