The Scorpion EVO 3 S1 is a straight-blowback, semi-automatic 9x19 pistol built around a fiberglass-reinforced polymer receiver and frame for strength with minimal weight. It uses a left-side charging handle and an ambidextrous safety selector for accessible, intuitive controls. Unloaded weight is approximately 5.0 lb, with an overall length of about 16.5 in.
The 7.72-inch barrel is cold-forged and threaded, and this example is fitted with a cylindrical multi-port muzzle brake/compensator. The package supports confident handling with the installed Picatinny rail-mounted handstop on the polymer forend.
Sighting is handled by CZ-marked flip-up iron sights, with a protected front post and a multi-aperture, adjustable rear. A full-length Picatinny top rail and a polymer forend with integral left, right, and bottom rails provide ample mounting real estate for accessories.
Markings include "CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S1," "MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC," the CZ-USA Kansas City import mark, and the molded legend "DESIGNED BY LAUGO." The rear end cap features a sling slot (no stock or brace attached). It uses Scorpion-pattern double-column polymer magazines and is supplied here with one 50-round drum and one 20-round magazine, for a maximum capacity of 50+1 with the drum installed. The serial number is observed on both the receiver and bolt.
