    What’s Included
    • 1x 15-round magazine
    • Olive-drab web sling (installed)

IBM was a U.S. prime contractor for M1 Carbines during WWII, and this example reflects that history with a receiver marked "U.S. CARBINE / CAL. .30 M1." and a Parkerized/phosphate finish. It was manufactured in 1944 in the USA and uses a steel receiver paired with a hardwood stock in an oil finish.

The 18 in barrel is marked "I.B.M. CORP. 10-43" and bears the ordnance flaming bomb proof. The carbine retains early characteristics, including the narrow barrel band without bayonet lug and integral sling swivel, plus a two-rivet wood handguard with longitudinal grooves.

Sighting equipment includes a wing-protected front post and a stamped adjustable rear aperture with a right-side windage knob; the sight base shows an "SI" marking. Stock details include an oval sling cut and a stamped, checkered buttplate, with notable markings: "LW" in the sling well, a small "9" on the bottom of the grip, and "AAF" on the right wrist. A "P" proof is present on the front of the grip.

Mechanically, it is a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston carbine with a rotating bolt and a stated capacity of 15+1. The length of pull measures 13.25 in. The bright bore and sharp rifling complement the carbine’s clean, service-ready configuration while preserving its WWII-era character.
