This Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Sport is a dedicated rimfire AR-pattern rifle in .22 LR with true AR-style controls and last-round hold-open. It features a lightweight polymer receiver and handguard, a 16.5 in threaded carbon steel barrel with A2 flash suppressor, and a full-length, continuous top Picatinny rail. It comes equipped with Magpul MBUS flip-up sights, an installed micro red dot, and useful M-LOK accessories, plus four 10-round magazines. Receiver rollmarks note its U.S. manufacture in Springfield, MA.

The M&P15-22 Sport follows the AR-15 layout and uses a semi-automatic blowback action tailored for .22 LR. It retains familiar AR controls and provides a true last-round hold-open, making it intuitive for training and rimfire shooting. The design omits an ejection-port dust cover and keeps weight to about 5.0 lb for easy handling.
Its polymer receiver and M&P Slim M-LOK handguard are finished in matte black, with a full-length, continuous top Picatinny rail across the receiver and handguard. The 16.5 in carbon steel barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2 flash suppressor, and uses a 1:15 twist for rimfire use. Magpul MBUS flip-up sights are installed for backup aiming.
Furniture includes a 6-position collapsible polymer stock and an A2-style pistol grip. A manual safety is provided. Overall length is approximately 30.7 in to 33.75 in, depending on stock position.
