This Industrial Silver variant is optics-ready, includes fiber-optic/adjustable sights, and retains the series' DA/SA trigger, ambidextrous manual safety, and flared magwell. This Shadow 2 Compact is the Industrial Silver finish variant with a forged 7075 aluminum-alloy frame and steel slide. The pistol measures approximately 7.5 x 1.4 x 5.4 in, weighs about 30.7 oz empty, and uses a 4.0 in barrel with a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and an optics-ready interface with tapped holes that shares the plate system used on the Shadow 2 OR. Sighting is fast and precise thanks to a red fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable black rear.
Controls include a DA/SA curved smooth trigger, ambidextrous manual safety, hammer safety notch, and a reversible, checkered magazine release. A ring-type skeletonized hammer complements the action. The dustcover carries an integral 3-slot Picatinny rail for accessories.
Ergonomics are enhanced by aggressive frontstrap and backstrap checkering, a flared magazine well with a silver funnel, and textured aluminum grip panels marked with 'CZ SHADOW' and '2' logos. This example shows matching serial numbers on the slide and frame, and the included case label matches as well.
