This 2017 Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor pairs a 24-inch cold hammer-forged heavy barrel with 5R rifling and a 1:8 RH twist for stable, consistent performance. It features Ruger’s folding, fully adjustable chassis, a 20 MOA Picatinny scope base, and accepts both AICS- and SR-25-pattern magazines. It comes in very good condition with an excellent bore, and includes two 5-round magazines and a Picatinny-mounted adjustable bipod.

The 24-inch heavy-contour barrel is cold hammer-forged with 5R rifling and a 1:8 RH twist, designed to support precise, repeatable performance with 6.5 Creedmoor. It is threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with a muzzle brake, offering ready compatibility with common 6.5 CM muzzle devices.
The chassis features a folding, fully adjustable stock with tool-less adjustments for length of pull and cheek rest, plus an adjustable buttpad for height and cant. The design uses an in-line recoil path and combines steel, aluminum, and nylon components for a solid, user-adjustable interface.
An aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard provides ample mounting space while maintaining barrel clearance. Up top, a 20 MOA Picatinny scope base is installed, and the underside of the stock includes a Picatinny rail section. A Picatinny-mounted adjustable bipod is already installed on the fore-end.
This rifle accepts both AICS- and SR-25-pattern magazines and includes two 5-round Magpul PMAG 7.62 AC AICS-pattern magazines. The magazines are marked 7.62x51; Ruger advises loading only the caliber marked on the barrel. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger is externally adjustable to approximately 2.25–5 lb, and the ambidextrous safety selector is easy to access. Receiver construction is steel, and production is U.S.-made. This example aligns with the 2017 production run associated with Ruger’s RPR aluminum bolt shroud safety bulletin (1800/1801-series).
