This Smith & Wesson Model 629-4 Trail Boss is an RSR distributor-exclusive variant of the stainless N-frame .44 Magnum. It features factory "Trail Boss" sideplate script, a 3-inch heavy stainless barrel with side porting, and a pre-internal-lock frame. Adjustable sights, color-casehardened hammer and trigger, and a lanyard ring round out a purposeful Trail Boss configuration.

This Trail Boss is a factory-engraved, RSR-exclusive edition identifiable by the "Trail Boss" script on the right-side sideplate. The revolver is built on the stainless N-frame with a fluted six-shot cylinder and a pre-internal-lock frame, giving it the classic 629-4 mechanical layout in a limited, distributor-only configuration.
The 3-inch heavy-profile barrel is stainless steel and side-ported to help manage recoil. It includes an integral ejector-rod shroud and a serrated top rib for a clean sight picture and confident handling.
Sights are fully adjustable, with a micrometer-adjustable rear and a ramped front blade featuring an orange/red insert for clear aiming. The action is double-action/single-action, with a smooth-face trigger and an exposed, checkered-spur hammer—both color-casehardened.
Ergonomics and control are enhanced by the black rubber Hogue-style Monogrip with finger grooves and S&W medallions. A small lanyard ring on the butt adds a practical attachment point without adding bulk.
