Built on Colt’s I-frame with hand-fitted V-spring lockwork, this Python delivers the refined double-action/single-action operation the model is known for. The frame, cylinder, and barrel are carbon steel with a high-polish Royal Blue finish, and the right-side frame carries the Rampant Colt logo.
The 4 in carbon-steel barrel features a ventilated top rib with rectangular lightening slots and a full-length underlug. Its left-side legend reads "PYTHON 357 / 357 MAGNUM CTG" with star markers, matching the original-production style.
Sighting is handled by a pinned, serrated ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight. The six-shot fluted cylinder includes a knurled ejector-rod tip for positive manipulation.
Factory checkered walnut target stocks with gold Colt medallions provide a classic grip profile and period-correct appearance. The action offers a smooth double-action pull and a crisp single-action break.
Made in the United States in the 1970s era, this 1975 Python presents as a collectible example with hallmark Python features and an excellent bore.
