The 4 inch stainless steel barrel and stainless slide wear Smith & Wesson’s Armornite finish in black. Front and rear slide serrations provide positive manipulation, and the barrel uses a 1:10 twist for common 9mm loads.
The compact polymer frame has the aggressive M2.0 texture and ships with interchangeable palmswell backstraps to tailor the grip. An ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine release support left- or right-handed use. A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover accepts compact lights or lasers.
This striker-fired model uses an aftermarket flat-faced, skeletonized aluminum trigger with a center-mounted safety blade. It has no manual thumb safety and no magazine disconnect, and it is capable of firing with the magazine removed. The pistol is made in the United States and is listed with a 21+1 capacity; four magazines are included (two 15-round, one 17-round, and one 21-round).
