Built on the Anschütz Match 64–pattern action, this Exemplar uses a bolt with a polished round knob and a detachable box magazine system. The action and receiver are steel, with factory markings "J.G. Anschütz Ulm/Donau, W.-Germany."
The pistol wears an approximately 10" heavy bull barrel and has no iron sights installed. The barrel is drilled and tapped near the muzzle for a front sight provision, and a Burris 4x pistol scope is mounted on a barrel base for a clear, fixed-power sight picture.
Its one-piece walnut target stock provides a stable platform, featuring textured and stippled black grip and fore-end panels for consistent hand placement. The adjustable trigger supports fine-tuning to the shooter’s preference.
The Exemplar feeds from detachable box magazines, and this example includes two 10-round and one 5-round factory steel magazines. Collectors will appreciate the West German origin, the 1980s production era, and the inclusion of the original box, owner's manual, and the serial-matched factory 50 m/10-shot test card dated April 18, 1988.
